DiMi wood & brass: First performance MIC opening new HQ in Linz

Opening of the new MIC headquarters in Lederergasse/Linz

On January 24, 2025, MIC Datenverarbeitung GmbH celebrated the official opening of its new headquarters in Lederergasse in Linz with a large open house party. With the ultra-modern office building covering around 10,000 square meters, the internationally active company is sending out a clear signal for Upper Austria as a business location.

The new headquarters offers the 400 employees in Linz a future-oriented working environment. As a global company with seven international locations, MIC is making a clear commitment to Linz as its headquarters with this investment, thereby strengthening the regional economy and labor market.

First appearance of "DiMi wood & brass"

DIGITAL MILE Linz provided a musical highlight at the opening ceremony with the first official performance by the newly founded "DiMi wood & brass" band. The cross-company band was created especially for important events at the DIGITAL MILE and will provide stylish musical accompaniment in future.

At this official celebration with invited guests, the DiMi musicians created a festive atmosphere with traditional marches. The successful first performance was a resounding success and gives hope for many more musical highlights in the future.
