Second round of TECHNIKTALENTE launched in Linz

At the beginning of October, we welcomed around 160 participants to the TECHNIKTALENTE Junior 2025/26 kick-off at the Linz Technikum! With TECHNIKTALENTE, we are investing - together with schools and companies - in a strong basis for the technology enthusiasm and skills of tomorrow.

What makes it special: The technology training takes place directly at the schools all year round. Students from the Linz Technikum and HTBLA Leonding pass on their knowledge of robotics and programming to students from the participating schools. At the end of the school year, the regional competition and the Austrian finals of WRO Austria await the kids.

In the 2024/25 school year, we started for the first time with 8 schools from Linz and the surrounding area. The positive feedback was overwhelming - we are now starting the second run with 13 schools!

A big thank you to all those involved

A big thank you to our dedicated LEGO coaches from HTBLA Leonding and Linzer Technikum, who teach younger pupils how to build and program robots in peer-to-peer lessons. In addition to six new schools, we have also been able to gain further corporate partners who are convinced by the project and want to work with us to strengthen the future of Linz as a technology location and the technical education of young people.

The highlight of the year will once again be the robot olympiad district linz - make a note now: March 24, 2026!
We are looking forward to many creative teams with innovative solutions.

We are already excited to see what TECHNIKTALENTE 2025/26 will achieve. Together we are taking responsibility - for the future of technology in Linz!
