"For the love of people" - blood donations
Last night, ZIB 1 reported on the dramatic situation that the level of blood reserves in Austria is the lowest in 25 years.
Every day, 1,000 units of blood are needed in Austria, but currently only 2,700 are in stock in W, NÖ and B.
Consequence: "It is indeed the case that it is possible that only vital operations can be carried out," says Michael Opriesnig of the Red Cross Upper Austria.
Yesterday, 27 June 2022, a blood donation campaign by S&T AG, CBCX and DIGITAL MILE Linz took place in the NEUE WERFT.
A big thank you to everyone who donated blood - and to the initiators.

It doesn't hurt - Coke, jelly babies and chocolate are ready and waiting. And who knows whether we ourselves (or one of our loved ones) will not find ourselves in a situation where we urgently need blood from others.
