Celebrating together on the MS DIGITAL MILE

In June 2024, the MS DIGITAL MILE docked again for the Bubbledays - the harbor festival with a difference. Around 1,000 employees of the companies in the DIGITAL MILE were able to put their feet in the sand together and listen to the hot beats while enjoying cool drinks and the attractions of the water sports arena. Despite mixed weather forecasts, the weather gods were kind to us and gave us plenty of sunshine. The bar teams, which were provided on a voluntary basis by the core companies of the DIGITAL MILE, diligently handed out drinks and collected donations until late in the evening. This year, all of the money raised went to the Theresiengut am Pöstlingberg.

At Theresiengut, an organic farm on the Pöstlingberg (Upper Austria), adults with disabilities find work and a place to live. It is a place that becomes a home with self-determination and further development. Support is individualized and tailored to the strengths of each person on our farm. Around 42 disabled people live and work at Theresiengut. They need a new all-round transporter so that the residents can be transported safely and efficiently: for excursions, therapy sessions, shopping, etc. We are making a contribution to this with our donation.

This year, the challenge cup was once again played out among the DIGITAL MILE companies. As in the previous year, we organized a Mölkky tournament on our ship. This time, the companies practiced diligently in advance and the tournament was an exciting head-to-head race right to the end. In the end, a team from MIC - the Mölkky Machine - once again came out on top and defended the challenge cup. Congratulations to them!
