Especially in these times of rapid developments, new challenges, constantly changing conditions and the development of new technologies, the decisive success factor for achieving your goals will be your team and your employees.

In these 4 modules

  • learn the methodological competencies to develop your team and your employees
  • Develop the competences that are necessary to fulfil your role as a leader more successfully.
  • become aware of your own behavioural patterns and learn crucial methods of self-management
  • learn how to motivate your team and your employees even in challenging situations and how to create a motivational boost

Module 1: "I" as a leader

  • Deeper round of introductions with self-assessment and assessment by others
  • Clarification/elaboration of individual development goals in all modules
  • Recognising and reflecting on one's own personality structure
  • Exploring the development possibilities of my personality (values square)
  • Recognising and dealing with inner conflicts and resistance (the inner team)
  • Dealing with attacks and under attacks
  • The leader as role model

Module 2: Performing my leadership function and leading my team successfully

  • Tasks and personality of the manager, role and expectations
  • Leadership styles, from the classical approach to today
  • Leadership talks, from recognition to criticism talks, feedback, delegation talks
  • Increase efficiency in the team through meeting techniques, time and project management
  • Conflict management, basic conflict resolution strategies
  • Team communication

Module 3: Me and my team on the road to success through leadership culture

  • Joint development
  • Factors for good cooperation and service delivery
  • Leadership culture/leadership as service to the community
  • Dealing with diversity and making use of differences
  • Leading in harmonious and stormy times
  • Autonomous, powerful navigation while staying connected

Module 4: Recognising and developing my leadership techniques

  • Leadership models
  • Situational leadership model
  • Teambuilding, what makes teams successful and also keeps them successful
  • Leadership techniques in addition to the previous modules
  • Working on practical cases of leadership

Target group:
Employees of the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences and the companies in the DIGITAL MILE Linz who want to deal specifically with the topic of leadership.

Participation fee:
€ 870 per module (incl. accommodation and meals) for external participants (outside the Upper Austrian University of Applied Sciences)

Procedure per date/module:

Day 1:
14:00: Arrival of participants
14:30: Start of workshop
18:00: Dinner together
19:30: Evening session
2.Day 2:
08:30 - 12:00 h Workshop
13:00 - 17:00 h Workshop

Only all four modules can be booked together; it is not possible to book a module individually!
As the training takes place in external seminar hotels, a room will automatically be reserved for you.

Cancellation policy:
If you are a registered participant and are unable to attend the seminar, please cancel in good time. If you cancel 4 weeks before the start of the seminar, we will charge 100 % of the participation fee as well as any cancellation costs for external seminar hotels. This cancellation policy does not apply if a substitute participant who will attend the seminar is registered at least 1 week before the start of the seminar.
