Mastering challenging conversations with confidence

In addition to a high level of professional expertise and experience in one's own field of activity, everyday working life also requires a high level of social skills. Whether it's finding the right words in tricky situations or interacting professionally with a wide variety of (sometimes more, sometimes less difficult) counterparts to ensure smooth collaboration and work progress.

In this seminar, we will use a balanced mix of input and practice to look at how - often with small changes - it is possible to deal with personal attacks, the threat of escalation, breaking off a conversation or other resistance. It is taken into account that different situations and counterparts are "difficult" for everyone.

  • Professional communication with difficult counterparts
  • Constructively addressing and redirecting difficult situations
  • Effects of and strategies for dealing with emotions
  • Practical conversation tricks from tough negotiations (e.g. with hostage-takers) such as no-oriented questions and targeted, open questions
  • Reflection and practical training on options for action in specific mini-conflict situations

Methodology:

Theory inputs / practical examples / case studies from participants / practical exercises / guided exchange among participants

Participation fee:
€ 410,- for DiMi participants
incl. refreshments during breaks and lunch

Billing:
Billing takes place exclusively via your respective DIGITAL MILE company (participation fee plus VAT).

Cancellation conditions:
If you are a registered participant and are unable to attend the seminar, please cancel your registration in good time. If you cancel 4 weeks before the start of the seminar, we will charge 100 % of the participation fee as well as any cancellation costs for external seminar hotels. This cancellation policy does not apply if a replacement person attending the seminar is registered at least 1 week before the start of the seminar.
